To apply for representation, please visit our Representation page and follow the submission guidelines. We ask that you provide your child's details, recent photographs and a self-tape so that we can learn more about them.

No. We welcome applications from both new and experienced performers. While training and experience can be beneficial, we are primarily interested in talent, potential, enthusiasm and commitment.

No. A Spotlight profile is not required to apply for representation. If your child already has a Spotlight profile, please include the link as part of your submission.

Self-tapes should be filmed in landscape orientation and be no longer than three minutes. Your child may introduce themselves, perform a monologue, scene, song or demonstrate a particular skill. Most importantly, we want to see their personality, confidence and natural ability.

A good self-tape should have clear sound, good lighting and a simple, uncluttered background. The performer should be clearly visible and easy to hear throughout the recording.

We carefully review every application we receive and aim to get back to you tihin 2 weeks. If we feel your child may be a suitable fit for Blackgate Talent, we will contact you regarding the next steps.

No. There is no fee to submit an application for representation.

No agency can guarantee auditions or professional work. Casting decisions are made by casting directors, producers and production companies. Our role is to represent our clients, submit them for suitable opportunities and support them throughout the process.

Our clients may be submitted for opportunities across film, television, commercials, theatre, voiceover and other performance-based projects where appropriate.

We are a sole representation agency, performers should not be represented by multiple agencies covering the same area of work. If your child is currently represented elsewhere, please let us know when applying.
